(BSR), a delegation of leaders from the China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) recently visited Global House, Thailand’s largest building materials supermarket chain, in Bangkok. The two parties held in-depth exchanges on topics such as deepening China-Thailand building materials trade cooperation and expanding market channels.

As a leading home improvement and building materials trader in Thailand, Global House boasts a 20-year development history with over 120 stores nationwide, covering all provinces and counties in Thailand, and has expanded to Southeast Asian countries including Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia, making it one of the largest building materials supermarket enterprises in Southeast Asia. During the talks, Global House stated that it has participated in the Canton Fair for over 20 consecutive years, regarding it as “a core platform for selecting innovative products and connecting with high-quality suppliers.” It also highly praised the Canton Fair’s role as a bridge in promoting China-Thailand trade. In recent years, with BSR’s arrangements, participating in the fair and selecting products has become more efficient and convenient, and it will continue to maintain interactions to experience more online services of the Canton Fair. Both sides also exchanged views on consumer trends, green building materials technology applications, and supply chain optimization in China and Thailand’s building materials markets, agreeing that the two markets have strong complementarity and broad prospects for future cooperation.

Visiting the largest and most comprehensive local purchasers is a key part of the Canton Fair’s “Trade Bridge” global promotion initiative. As an official partner of the Canton Fair, BSR has collaborated closely with the fair in investment promotion, regular online and offline procurement matchmaking, and international delegation organization in recent years, continuously building efficient trade channels for Chinese and foreign enterprises. A responsible person from BSR stated that this visit will serve as an opportunity to further integrate resources, helping more Chinese building materials enterprises enter the Southeast Asian market while assisting overseas purchasers like Global House in accurately connecting with Chinese supply chains.
