Driven by the China-Saudi industrial integration strategy in 2019, ibuychem and BSR invested to build a B2B internet platform, overseas warehouse and exhibition-sales center, upon the invitation and support from H.E. Khalid Al-Falih — former Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia, former Chairman of Saudi Aramco, and current Minister of State & Member of the Saudi Cabinet — as well as the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu. This marked our official launch of business deployment in Saudi Arabia and other overseas markets.
Saudi Ministry of Investment
At the beginning of 2025, a delegation of ten Saudi governmental and state-owned enterprises led by the Saudi Ministry of Investment, including the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), visited ibuychem to advance bilateral economic-trade ties and industrial-park cooperation. Guo Xihong, Chairman of ibuychem, paid a reciprocal visit to the Saudi Ministry of Investment and appointed the former President of the Saudi-Chinese Business Council as corporate strategic advisor. In the same period, the ibuychem Riyadh Office and the BSR Canton Fair “Trade Bridge” Service Center were officially inaugurated.
Saudi Public Investment Fund
In March 2025, ibuychem met with representatives from the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) and organized business matchmaking for enterprises across multiple sectors including new materials, coatings, biomedicine, drones, new-energy vehicles and batteries, to advance the implementation of industrial and investment projects.
