Trade Bridge Connects Jianghuai, Anhui Industrial Tour Sets “Three Records”

From August 12 to 14, the Canton Fair’s “Trade Bridge – China Industrial Tour” Anhui Special Event was successfully held in Hefei and Chuzhou, Anhui Province.

Closely aligned with national strategies such as the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta and the rise of Central China, the event adopted a full-chain service model of “precise profiling and targeted invitations before the event, on-site factory visits and centralized matchmaking during the event” to build an efficient connection channel for both suppliers and buyers. It marked the industrial tour series’ highest number of participating buyers, the most comprehensive range of matched product categories, and the most up-to-date industrial profile to date. Multiple rounds of supply-demand matching were conducted during the preparatory stage, with careful review of buyers’ areas of interest and suppliers’ technological highlights to ensure practical and efficient outcomes. During the event, 22 leading buyer enterprises conducted in-depth inspections of 12 representative companies’ production lines and engaged in centralized matchmaking sessions with 122 foreign trade enterprises, covering 11 high-quality industries including smart home appliances and electronic information. The event received widespread acclaim from both supply and demand sides, with multiple companies reaching preliminary cooperation intentions on-site and some signing framework agreements immediately.

Zhu Yong, Director General of the China Foreign Trade Centre, stated that the Industrial Tour initiative represents a concrete effort by the Canton Fair to proactively serve local development, as well as an innovative exploration toward building a “never-ending” Canton Fair. The initiative aims to break through temporal and spatial boundaries, allowing buyers to experience firsthand the origins of China’s quality industries, and accelerating the global reach of “new, smart, and green” products. During the event, officials from the Department of Commerce of Anhui Province, Hefei City, and Chuzhou City, along with industry experts, provided buyers with in-depth briefings on local industrial advantages and investment opportunities.

In September, the “Trade Bridge – China Industrial Tour” will head to Tianjin, continuing to build precise matchmaking platforms for Canton Fair participants and supporting the high-quality development of local foreign trade.
