This February, to pragmatically advance China-Saudi economic and trade cooperation, a high-level economic and trade delegation consisting of 10 Saudi government departments and enterprises—including the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia, Public Investment Fund (PIF), Economic Cities Authority, Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, JABEEN, King Abdullah Economic City, General Authority of Civil Aviation, and ENEC—visited Guangzhou under the coordination and organization of ibuychem & BSR (Belt and Road Silk Road). The delegation conducted a series of matchmaking activities focused on deepening economic and trade investment cooperation under the China-Saudi comprehensive strategic partnership.
今年2月，为务实推动中沙经贸合作，在买化塑&数字丝路的联络与组织下，沙特阿拉伯王国投资部、公共投资基金（PIF）、经济特区管理局、朱拜勒和延布皇家委员会、JABEEN、阿卜杜拉国王经济城、航空管理局、埃耐特等10个政府部门及企业机构组成的高级经贸代表团访问广州，围绕深化中沙全面战略伙伴关系下的经贸投资合作开展系列对接活动。
During the visit, ibuychem & BSR held a special working meeting with the Saudi government delegation. Both parties focused on discussions regarding the specific matters of jointly building an energy and chemical trade and investment matching platform and a digital cross-border trading platform in Saudi Arabia. Mr. Saleh Aljaber, head of the Saudi delegation, expressed sincere gratitude for the thoughtful arrangements by ibuychem & BSR and clearly stated his intention to use this platform to build a digital bridge for Chinese and Saudi enterprises, enabling two-way empowerment of supply chains and markets.

Mr. Guo stated that the company is dedicated to making greater contributions to the two-way empowerment of China’s manufacturing industry and supply chains and markets in the Middle East and Gulf countries. The Ksachem platform will be the first chemical and green building materials trading platform in the Middle East and Gulf countries, expected to assist Chinese enterprises in developing in Saudi Arabia, drive the localization of Saudi Arabia’s high-value petrochemical industry chain, and gradually establish pricing power for chemical commodities.

During their stay in Guangzhou, the Saudi delegation also conducted intensive visits, exchanges, and field inspections. They explored innovative mechanisms and paths for cooperative industrial funds with the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province; reached a consensus with Guangzhou Industrial Investment Holdings Group on promoting the establishment of a Saudi-Guangzhou Industrial Investment Fund through tripartite cooperation involving Guangzhou Industrial Investment, the Saudi side, and ibuychem; exchanged views with the Guangzhou Local Financial Supervision Bureau and Yuexiu Group on building an international financial city in areas such as policy formulation, investment, construction, investment promotion, and operation; visited the Canton Fair to discuss China-Saudi exhibition and trade economy, supply and procurement matchmaking, and other topics; called on relevant leaders of Guangzhou Huangpu Development Zone; and conducted on-site visits to key enterprises such as XPeng Motors and GAC Group to gain a detailed understanding of the development achievements of the new energy vehicle industry cluster and explore cooperation directions and models for China-Saudi collaboration in the new energy vehicle industry chain.
沙特代表团在穗期间还密集展开拜访交流和实地考察。分别与广东省商务厅探索合作产业基金的创新机制和路径；在广州产业投资控股集团就广州产投、沙方、买化塑三方推进设立沙穗产业投资基金达成共识；与广州市地方金融管理局、越秀集团就如何打造国际金融城市，在政策制定、投资、建设、招商、运营等方面进行交流探讨；走访广交会，围绕中沙展览展贸经济、供采对接等话题进行交流；拜访广州市黄埔开发区相关领导，并实地参观小鹏汽车、广汽集团等重点企业，详细了解新能源汽车产业集群发展成就，探讨中沙在新能源汽车产业链的合作方向与模式。
The visit of the Saudi high-level economic and trade delegation achieved fruitful results. China and Saudi Arabia reached broad consensus in multiple key areas, including trade demand matching, investment and construction of high-tech economic development zones and free trade zones, industrial fund cooperation, and industry-finance integration in industrial chains. As the organizer and key participant of this visit, ibuychem & BSR stated that it will continue to uphold the principles of pragmatism, openness, and win-win cooperation to steadily elevate China-Saudi economic and trade cooperation to a higher level.
