From March 5 to 6, 2026, the Canton Fair “Trade Bridge – China Industrial Sourcing Trip & Guangdong Goods Global Reach Campaing” event was successfully held in Zhuhai and Jiangmen, Guangdong.
The event was jointly organized by the China Foreign Trade Centre and the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, and undertaken by the Bureaus of Commerce of Zhuhai and Jiangmen cities.
Marking its first collaboration with the “Guangdong Goods Global Reach Campaing” brand following a successful debut in Zhejiang this past January, the event invited 16 leading procurement companies from 7 countries and regions to conduct site visits to 13 representative enterprises in Zhuhai and Jiangmen. It facilitated precise business matching with 118 Guangdong foreign trade companies, covering six traditionally advantageous industries and emerging sectors, including smart home appliances, hardware and stainless steel, motorcycles, and new energy.
Through innovative formats such as immersive factory tours and precision matchmaking, the initiative aims to help “New Guangdong Goods” integrate into global supply chains with higher added value, fostering a “never-ending” Canton Fair ecosystem dedicated to serving global buyers.
Zhang Sihong, Deputy Director of the China Foreign Trade Centre, stated that this event was designed to help buyers precisely connect with the advantageous industries of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It represents a concrete practice in implementing the vision of the Guangdong Provincial High-Quality Development Conference and promoting the quality and efficiency of foreign trade. During the event, relevant officials from the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, Zhuhai and Jiangmen cities, along with industry experts, provided in-depth insights into local industry development trends to the buyers.
Following the success in Guangdong, the “Trade Bridge – China Industrial Sourcing Trip” will continue to visit key domestic industrial clusters, building an efficient and precise trade matching platform to support the high-quality development of foreign trade.
