The promotion event of the 138th Canton Fair was held in Turkey
9月1日,第138届广交会土耳其推介会在伊斯坦布尔成功举办。中国驻伊斯坦布尔总领事馆总领事魏晓东、伊斯坦布尔商会副主席艾哈迈德·奥泽、土耳其对外经济关系委员会土中理事会副主席穆拉特·科尔巴希、土耳其中国银行行长高晓明、南航伊斯坦布尔营业部总经理徐嘉锋等出席并致辞,当地进出口商、零售企业和老广交代表等约100人参会。现场互动踊跃、气氛热烈。
The promotion event for the 138th Canton Fair was successfully held in Istanbul, Turkey on September 1st. Wei Xiaodong, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Istanbul; Ahmed Ozer, Vice President of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce; Murat Korbaşı, Vice President of the Turkey-China Business Council under the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey; Gao Xiaoming, President of Bank of China Turkey; and Xu Jiafeng, General Manager of China Southern Airlines’ Istanbul Branch, attended the event and delivered speeches. Approximately 100 participants were present, including local importers and exporters, retail enterprises, and representatives of long-term participants in the Canton Fair. The on-site interaction was enthusiastic, creating a lively atmosphere.

Zhang Sihong, Deputy Director of the China Foreign Trade Center, stated that over the past 69 years, the Canton Fair has adhered to the concept of “Connecting the World for Mutual Benefit” and built a platform for win-win cooperation among global merchants. The 138th Canton Fair features a better exhibition theme structure, higher quality of exhibitors and exhibits, richer activities, and more convenient participation experience. He welcomed Turkish merchants to actively participate in the fair, engage in in-depth docking with the Chinese market, secure more cooperation opportunities, and contribute to the development of trade between the two countries.
在伊斯坦布尔期间,工作组拜会了伊斯坦布尔商会、伊斯坦布尔矿业及金属出口商协会,调研了土耳其头部采购企业Arzum和Ozaktac公司,了解采购需求,就宣传推介、组团参会、供采对接、全链条贸易服务等进行交流。
During their stay in Istanbul, the working group paid visits to the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and the Istanbul Mineral and Metal Exporters’ Association. They also conducted research at Arzum and Ozaktac, two leading procurement enterprises in Turkey, to understand their procurement needs. Additionally, discussions were held on areas such as promotion and publicity, organizing delegations to attend the fair, supply-procurement matching, and full-chain trade services.
